The Cottage is amazingly spacious, with an area of nearly 2000 sq ft and the accommodation has been arranged to make the most of the original features.   The Cotttage’s most stunning part is the Grade II* listed Tudor Fireplace which is nearly 20ft wide and when the fire is lit provides a wonderful and unique atmosphere.    Leading from this sitting area is an  inner hallway leading to the double bedroom with a 5ft bed and the very spacious second bedroom with two single beds, a superior double sofa bed for extra accommodation and room for a cot,  There is also a downstairs toilet.

Upstairs there is a mezzanine floor (which provides extra sleeping for two) and allows you to enjoy the Tudor fireplace similar to a Minstrels Gallery. 

The main living room upstairs takes advantage of the room height and original beans to provide a large open plan room with sitting and dining area.  There is a compact but well fitted kitchen, a bathroom with power shower over the bath and toilet. There is also an additional cloakroom including a washing machine and toilet.

All the main rooms have wonderful relaxing views over the surrounding farmland. 

We are able to supply a cot, toddler bed and high chair.  Garden furniture is also included together with use of a gas barbecue.  Parking for two to three cars is adjacent to the property.

To make your holiday as comfortable as possible we have also included the following; electric heating, open fire (logs provided), dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, electric cooker, iron and ironing board, TV and DVD, radio/CD player, hairdryer.  We also supply excellent linen and towels to complement the other quality furnishings. 

Major supermarkets now deliver here including Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tescos.

As well as the superb walking there is fishing both in the river and our ponds.  There is a grass tennis court which is available in the summer and a games barn with table tennis, table football and air hockey/billiard table.
